NowOn was designed to be a nationwide cluster of 25,000 worldwide sites that provide continuous information on local issues and events. Subjects ranged from school lunch menus to sports events, movies, restaurants, and professional services.

Our task in this design, was to create a welcoming, yet substantial presence, that expressed both the universality of the network, and its essentially user-friendly nature. To do this we created the clouds-and-sky field, and using retro-thirties cartoon figures to serve as guides to the site's features
